Ports required

N.B.

Load balancing and port requirements pertain only to "Classic" Hrplus.  On HRplus installations that run with Alpha for IIS, load balancing is managed by IIS itself.  There is no need to provide additional load balancing ports.  It is still necessary to provide a port for the database web service for web pivots configuration.

SSL Installation

This latest version of the pivot feature was developed by HRplus Software LLC, whereas the previous version depends on external, embedded 3rd-party software.

Essentially, we are setting up a web server inside the database.  Therefore, the database itself will serve the pivot pages and data directly and will remove the dependence on Alpha making for an overall improvement in the Pivot reporting.

For this reason, the customer must provide both an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate and a port for the database server(s)

N.B.

Self-Signed Certificates:

This is not an option.  In order to use the web pivots feature in HRplus, a full SSL certificate must be provided.  Self-signed certificates cannot be used.

Select the link below for full details on SSL installation. This is required for the use of the HRplus pivot reporting tool.
