Closing a Staff Request
Closing a staff request marks one of the final step in the recruitment process for a specific position. Once the position has been filled or the decision is made not to proceed with the hire, HR formally closes the staff request in the system. This action updates the status of the request, indicating that the recruitment process is complete. Closing the request also ensures that no further actions are taken for that position and allows HR to finalize any remaining administrative tasks, such as recording actual recruitment costs and archiving relevant documentation.
Closed requests can then either be re-opened if needed or archived as the final step in the recruitment process.

Once all the job tasks are completed and the staff request is closed, then the record is available in the
Completed Requests screen.

Actual Recruitment Costs
The Actual Recruitment Costs for a staff request represent the total expenses incurred during the recruitment process for a specific position. These costs may include advertising fees, interview expenses, background checks, and any other costs associated with hiring.
Once the recruitment process is completed, HR can enter the actual costs for all job tasks into the system to track and compare them against the budgeted costs. This helps in assessing the efficiency and financial impact of the recruitment process.
For each individual task enter the cost where applicable:
• The Tasks and their respective Costs are displayed together with the Total.
The Budgeted $ is also shown for easy comparison.
Click New Record to any additional Tasks and Costs in respect of the staff requisition. The system will calculate and display the new Total.

Reopening a Staff Request
If a previously closed staff request needs to be revisited, it can be reopened within the recruitment module. Reopening a staff request allows HR to resume the recruitment process or make necessary updates. Once reopened, the request is moved back to the active status, making it visible again in the approved and open screens.
This feature provides flexibility to adjust or continue with the hiring process as needed.

Deleting a Staff Request
Deleting a staff request removes it from the active Staff Requests screen. However, the request is not permanently deleted; instead, it is moved to the Archived Requests section for record-keeping.

Archiving a Staff Request
After a requisition is closed, it can be archived to maintain clean and organized data within the recruitment module. Archiving a request prevents any further edits and removes it from the approved and re-open screens, making it visible only in the archived screen.
Additionally, requests that are no longer active but haven't been formally closed can also be archived to keep the data tidy and streamlined. This ensures that only relevant and active data remains accessible while preserving the integrity of historical records.

HR can view all rejected staff requests in this section, allowing them to review and manage any unapproved requisitions.
