How do I create a new job requisition in HRplus?

To create a new job requisition:

  1. Navigate to Recruitment>>Recruitment>>Staff Requests>>New Staff Requests or User Self- Service>>Manager>>Recruitment>>Staff Requests>>New Staff Requests

  2. Enter the relevant details for the position, such as the job title, department, reporting structure, required qualifications, and salary range.

  3. Indicate whether the position is a new addition or a replacement.

  4. Provide a detailed job description and any specific requirements.

  5. Review and submit the requisition for approval.

    Once submitted, the system will automatically generate a requisition number and notify the appropriate personnel for review and approval.

    How can I track the progress of a job requisition?

    To track a requisition's progress, go to Recruitment>>Recruitment>>Staff Requests>>Approved Requests. This section provides an overview of all approved requisitions and their current stage in the recruitment process. You can view details such as:

    • Current task being handled

    • Applicants linked to the requisition

    • Status of each task (e.g., completed, in progress)

    • Overall progress of the requisition

How do I add interview criteria and questions for a specific job?

To add interview criteria and questions:

  1. Navigate to Recruitment>>Recruitment>>Interviews>>Interview Criteria.

  2. Enter a unique code and description for each criterion (e.g., "Communication Skills").

  3. Under "Details," input the specific interview questions related to that criterion. You can add multiple questions per criterion. This creates a bank of questions that can be used across different job roles.

How do I set up different interview stages for a job requisition?

HRplus allows you to customize interview stages to match your organization's process. To set up interview stages:

  1. Go to Recruitment>>Recruitment>>Interviews>>Interview Stages.

  2. Define each stage with a unique code, name, and corresponding rating scale (e.g., "Initial Screening," "Technical Interview," "Final Interview").

  3. You can specify the minimum and maximum scores for each stage, allowing for a structured evaluation process.

How do I schedule interviews with applicants in HRplus?

To schedule interviews:

  1. Go to Recruitment>>Recruitment>>Interviews>>Interview Schedule.

  2. Select the relevant requisition and interview stage.

  3. Choose the applicants you want to invite for interviews from the shortlisted candidates.

  4. Specify the date, time, and panel members for each interview.

  5. The system will generate interview invitations to be sent to the selected applicants.

How do I provide feedback and scores for applicants after interviews?

Panel members can provide feedback and scores through the Applicant Appraisal Report. To access it:

  1. Navigate to Recruitment>>Recruitment>>Interviews>>Applicant Appraisal Report.

  2. Select the requisition and the applicant.

  3. You'll see the interview questions pulled from the criteria you defined earlier.

  4. Provide scores based on the defined rating scale and include detailed feedback for each applicant.

How can I see an overview of all applicants for a specific job requisition?

To view an overview of applicants for a requisition:

  1. Go to Recruitment>>Recruitment>>Staff Requests>>Approved Requests.

  2. Expand the desired job requisition.

  3. Click on either the "Applicant Progress" tab to see the status of all applicants or the "Selected Candidates" tab to view only those shortlisted for the job.

Once a candidate is selected, how do I mark the position as filled?

To mark a position as filled:

  1. Go to Recruitment>>Recruitment>>Staff Requests>>Approved Requests.

  2. Expand the relevant job requisition.

  3. Navigate to the "Selected Candidates" tab.

  4. Choose the successful candidate and proceed to create a new employee record or assign them to an existing vacant position.

  5. Once the candidate is linked to the position, the system automatically updates the requisition status to "Filled."
