HV5-I219 New Help Desk
HRplus has transitioned to a new Help Desk. Consequently when users click on the ? Help Desk icon, they are directed to the new HRplus Help Desk platform, which can be reached at https://support.hrplus.net. This change is part of HRplus transition to a fully integrated suite of apps for managing its Help Desk, CRM, Projects, Training, Email, Accounts and Communications. As a result Help Desk personnel will easily be able to determine customized items which are associated with a particular client, financial state of a client when providing support, be able to launch video support instantly, etc. This platform have native language support for our Spanish customers.

A general update/revamp was made to the module as follows:
1. Event reminders have been made multi-company in keeping with the rest of HRplus (new). Event Reminders can be currently set up for fourteen (14) events: Anniversary, Acting in Position, Birthday, Contract Ending, Leave Taking, Leave Return, New Hire, Part Time/Full Time, Position Change, Salary Change, Status in Position Change, Separation, Termination, Retirement, with another 16 to be integrated over the next 2 months.
2. Reminders can be set for specific positions(new), employees or groups of employees. Reminder lead times indicate the time from which the notification should be displayed in the employee’s Inbox. You can now setup multiple reminder levels for the same event – 30 days before, 10 days before, today for example (new). The HRplus Scheduler, on its nightly processing run, will retrieve all such events that meet the setup criteria and display them in the employee’s Inbox.
3. Notifications may be sent to employees from different companies/countries who have access to view reminders that may be from a different company/country (new). This is in keeping with the ability to have centralized/decentralized multi-company and multi-territory transactions in HRplus.

Amendments to the Recruitment module include:
1. The ability to upload and download résumés
2. The ability to receive notifications.
3. Screens are consistent and easy to read.
4. Internal applicants’ data: résumé will be updated in Employee Documents (Personnel>>Employees>.Toggle Additional Details>>Documents); and the employee’s position will be automatically updated to reflect the new position.

HV5-I174 Payslip
A new pay slip was created that adjusts the unit rate for bi-monthly and fortnightly workers:
1. When an employee is hired for the fortnightly pay group, a fortnightly salary is entered. However, the customized pay slip will reflect the weekly rate so this should be divided by 2.
2. When an employee is hired for the bi-monthly pay group a bi-monthly salary will be entered. However the pay slip will reflect a monthly unit rate, so this should be multiplied by 2.

The formatting of the report was modified so that the Company and Department Summary Totals are directly below each other rather than next to each other.

The report was modified as follows: (1) a new column, Non-Taxable Salary Increase, was added to the Edit file and Guyana TD4 reports, (2) an option to Show Non-Taxable Allowances was added and when Yes is selected, an additional column called Non-Taxable Allowances is generated on the report.
HV5-I223 Rehire

The blank error message, that was being displayed when attempting to unsuccessfully post a Rehire record, was fixed, so that the actual error message is now shown.
HV5-I42 Letter Templates

This module was revamped as follows:
1. Letter templates can be set up for eight (8) HR Transactions (Acting, Position, PT/FT, Status, Salary, Separation, Rehired, Miscellaneous).
2. Letters are automatically generated and stored in employee Documents (Personnel>>Employees>>Toggle Additional Details>>Documents), once the Workflow for HR Transactions is set up.
3. A button, Generate Letter, is displayed next to each posted HR transaction (Personnel>>Transactions) to allow for the generation of letters in PDF.

The report was modified so that the Item ID and Item Description fields are correctly populated and are no longer blank when the Net Pay (NP) deduction is selected.

The report was modified so that Earnings are no longer duplicated. The duplicate Option 12 Pay Slip was also removed from the menu.

The report was modified to show the new insurable earnings ceiling from February 2019 onwards.

The following modifications were made to the above report:
1. Timesheet earnings flagged as non-taxable was subtracted from the Salaries figure.
