A new screen, Invite Employee to Request, was added to allow HR to notify employees to request training for specific courses. HR determines the courses for which employees can request training based on the Available Seats and other course criteria.

Employees view the courses available and can click the Request Training button to register for the training. The system notifies both HR and the employee’s supervisor. HR and/or the employee’s supervisor may Approve or Reject the employee’s training request.

The following modifications were made: (1) the screen was modified to mirror the Leave Calendar screen. (2) multiple employees can be selected at a time, and (3) format, filters and labels were changed as appropriate.

The format of the above screen was modified – the layout was improved, the spelling mistake was corrected and Rating, as a search option, was included.

A new Transaction Type, VOID, that allows an employee asset transaction to be cancelled, was added to the drop-down list. Audits are also integrated to this screen so that all insert, edit, delete transactions can be viewed via the Audit button.

HV5-I320 New Position

The Company Access error, that was being displayed when a new position was created for the Controller user, was fixed – a trigger checks to determine if a record already exists for the Controller user, if not, only then is the record inserted.

The format of the pay slip was modified so that (1) the employee’s TRN and NIS numbers for both Archived and Unarchived reports are being displayed, (2) the words Net Pay are being displayed on the Archived report, and (3) Unarchived and Archived reports are the same.

The above report was modified so that (1) it is loading faster, and (2) the Company Entry Description in positions 35 to 44 in the header row of the download file can now be populated. However, for the Company Entry Description field to be populated, the user must enter the description in the BankFld6 of the Bank Download Setup (POWERpay>>Maintenance>>Downloads/Uploads>>Bank Download Setup).

The above report was modified so that (1) the previous cycle report can be generated as all the pay cycles are being displayed in the Pay Cycle drop-down list of the Archived report interface, and (2) only the current pay cycle is shown in the Pay Cycle drop-down list of the Normal report interface.
