Dear Client,
Please note that following Jamaica’s 2025/2026 budget, an increase in the annual Personal Income Tax-Free Threshold has been announced for the next four years (2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028). Effective April 1st, 2026, the threshold has been updated from JMD $1,700,088 to JMD $1,902,360.

The update is available for deployment to your HRplus application. It is crucial that you notify our team promptly if you require testing of the update in the UAT (User Acceptance Test) environment before deploying it to the live site. Please send an email to helpdesk@hrplus.net with the request as soon as possible to ensure timely processing. |

In addition to the update, you will be required to update the system codes below
1. System Code Reset: The system codes adjusted to facilitate the 2025-2026 threshold must be reset for April 2026. This ensures the system uses the proration amount from April this year.
